Hela 134 sidor med tofflorna p\u00e5, vilket g\u00f6r den 6 sidor tjockare \u00e4n Fr\u00e4mlingen av Albert Camus, men 686 sidor tunnare \u00e4n Odysseus av James Joyce. Bokstavligen och tekniskt sett en bok och inte ett fanzine, men det \u00e4r inget vi skryter om.<\/p>\n

The Century\/Rise of The Centaur 12" LP<\/p>\n

They do not fit neatly anywhere and never have.<\/p>\n

Formed to push electricity, rhythm, and attitude past usefulness, ISOTOPE SOAP combine punk urgency with warped synth structures and songs that refuse to settle into nostalgia or irony. The result is aggressive, melodic, strange, direct, and physical.<\/p>\n

Following the death of member Benjamin Vall\u00e9, the band fell into stalemate for two years. Some shows were made. Some singles released.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s their second debut LP. More direct, sharp and melodic.<\/p>\n

The record does not mourn. It moves forward.<\/p>\n

ISOTOPE SOAP have been described as finishing what others started:<\/p>\n

They avoid retro worship though their inspiration from the past can be heard.<\/p>\n

Influences collide rather than align: DEVO tension, SCREAMERS minimalism, GERMS aggression, THE STRANGLERS angular melody, old obscure USHC for that centaur on the top, early industrial pulse \u2014 stripped down and rewired.<\/p>\n

This is not a comeback record. This is not a revival. This is not a genre exercise.<\/p>\n
